AI makes digital employees possible. We make them part of your company.

We build digital employees to take on time-consuming jobs your human employees do again and again. We provide one platform where you work with all of them, and stay responsible for each one.

What a digital employee is

Each digital employee takes on one job,
built for how your company needs it done.

A human employee’s role often includes several jobs. A digital employee takes on one of them, and you work with them much as you would with a human employee.

Order entry

The job
Turns customer orders that arrive by email, in any format, into correct orders in your ERP. Calculates quantities using customer-specific rules and selects the right delivery address number when the order is unclear.
Has to know
Your master data for customers, articles and delivery addresses, and the quantity and address rules your people have built through experience.
With your people
Asks a colleague when unsure. Your manager reviews orders alongside the original documents and decides which customers’ orders go through automatically.
  • A name and a face

So your people can recognise them and know which job they do.

  • A human manager

Who sets expectations and decides what the digital employee can do independently.

  • Your way of doing the job

Including the unwritten rules and exceptions that today live in your people’s heads.

Every company has its own. Which time-consuming job do your people do again and again? Tell us about it

How it goes

Onboarded, like any new colleague.

Your human employees know which work the digital employee takes on and which work remains theirs.

01

Your people show us the job, and we build the digital employee

We ask the questions that uncover the rules, exceptions and knowledge nobody thinks to explain. Then we build the digital employee for that job.

02

The digital employee starts work, and your people correct it

Your people review real work and make corrections. We use those corrections to adjust the rules the digital employee follows and how exceptions are handled.

03

You decide how independent they become

As the work proves sound, the human manager can say:

“These cases you can handle yourself; these still come to me.”

90%+

At one customer, every order was reviewed initially. Five weeks later, more than 90% of orders go through automatically, without any work for a human employee.

The job is done the same way every time.

Each digital employee follows the steps and rules of your company’s job. AI works within those steps to understand information and handle cases that fixed rules alone cannot resolve.

Along the way, the job gets written down.

The digital employee’s job description becomes a full, readable account of how the job is done. Knowledge that lived in people’s heads stays with your company.

What you don’t have to follow

AI keeps changing. Working with your digital employees doesn’t.

One platform for all of them

Our platform is the shared workplace for all your digital employees. When a second one joins the first, your people already know where to find the work, how to review it and how to ask for help.

You stay in control

Each digital employee gets access only to the information and systems their job requires. On the platform, you see all of them together: what each does, which human manager they report to and what they can access.

A fixed monthly salary

It covers the agreed job and workload, including AI usage and ongoing support. You budget without following token prices. Building and onboarding have a separate initial cost.

We look after the technology

Your human manager sets expectations; Shokumu keeps the digital employee working as agreed. As models, tools and suppliers change, you don’t have to follow every technical change yourself.

Who we are

We’ve spent our careers on both halves of this.

Understanding how a company really does a job, and building software that does it dependably, are two different challenges. Geert, Mikael and Joachim have done both for decades: in consulting, and in software for highly regulated companies.

Shokumu means a job and the responsibilities that come with it. We fund the company ourselves, so we can build it for the long term, alongside the companies that depend on our digital employees.
